After focusing solely on Savings and Investments with PiggyVest, we naturally progressed to payments. We realized that bundling this new feature with the PiggyVest app might lead to a confusing user experience. Therefore, we decided to create a separate, dedicated app while maintaining a connection to PiggyVest. The concept was simple: save with PiggyVest and spend with Pocket App—with the ability to transfer funds between both.

The most crucial aspect to design was the onboarding experience. We needed to devise the most efficient way for users to join the app while adhering to the Central Bank of Nigeria's regulatory framework.

Pocket App (formerly known as Abeg) was set to launch on Big Brother, Africa's most-watched television program. We had to prepare the app to handle the anticipated surge of downloads from millions of viewers. Beyond Product Design, I also oversaw and designed some of the assets used in TV ads and billboards.

Over the next few years, I collaborated with an exceptional team on the Pocket App product, producing outstanding work. One of my recent impactful projects was the "Pretty Girls Use Pocket" campaign for International Women's Day 2024. This involved designing a marketing site that allowed women to upload their images and create a "pretty girl" statement. I also spearheaded the design of other digital assets, including AR filters for Instagram stories.
